Mr. Dao is a seasoned executive with extensive international experience in the commodities sector including financing, M&A, and capital markets. He holds a B.Sc. in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering from the University of Calgary and is a Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta. Mr. Dao has held senior executive positions and advised multiple high-profile commodity transactions across Africa, MENA, Asia and North America. He has founded multiple high growth companies headquartered in Singapore and Canada and has held CEO roles in multiple public and private companies involved in uranium, gold, oil and gas and carbon. Mr. Dao has advised numerous high profile M&A transactions exceeding US$20 Billion in value and has worked on the M&A teams at J.P Morgan, Rystad Energy and McDaniel. Previously, Mr. Dao was President and part of the founding team of King Tide Carbon which was acquired by Cel AI listed on the London Stock Exchange. Through his career, Mr. Dao has worked and lived in Singapore, Hong Kong, Canada and Germany.
Mr. Brand is a Namibian entrepreneur with 16 years in construction and mining projects across Africa. Arno is an experienced commodity trader/broker and has facilitated public transactions and company financings exceeding $1Bn, negotiated uranium off-take agreements globally and generated over $1.5Bn for shareholders by taking private companies public.
Mr. Bezanson is currently the Chair of BW Founders Holdings Ltd. (a company owned by his family trust) Mr. Bezanson is an active investor, primarily in the oil and gas sector and technology. He has been a director of a number of private companies. Mr. Bezanson’s background includes hedge funds, corporate oil and gas, private equity and financial services executive, with experience and knowledge of capital markets from both the buy and sell perspectives. Mr. Bezanson’s early career was spent at Nowsco Well Service Ltd. financing and structuring the international operations in over a dozen counties. The late nineties was spent in the offshore hedge fund industry managing arbitrage assets. More recently he has spent time financing and advising a number of private and public entities notable success with Nowsco Well Service, Altus, Bluewave Energy, FCF Capital, and Voxtur. Through his career Mr. Bezanson has lived and worked in the Netherlands, Guernsey, Barbados , United States of America, and Canada.
Mr. Appleby spent the first 10 years of his career working in public accounting where he worked in both audit and advisory practices for private companies and investment funds. In 2007 Mr. Appleby left the world of public accounting and founded CFO Advantage Inc., a company focused on providing management and accounting services to public companies across a variety of industries including Junior mining, Cryptocurrency, technology, food production, agriculture, cannabis, and many others. Mr. Appleby has served as CFO for numerous companies listed in Canada, the and the US. As a result, he has extensive experience in financial reporting, IPOs, fundraising, and corporate governance. Mr. Appleby is a graduate of York University, and has been a member in good standing of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (and Canada) since 2002.
Mr. Cameron brings over two decades of deal experience focused on small- and mid-cap companies in North America and abroad. He has held senior positions in investment banking at Canaccord Capital (senior vice-president, investment banking), MGI Securities (founder) and Macquarie Capital Markets Canada (senior vice-president, investment banking), formerly Orion Securities. During his 12-year career in banking, Mr. Cameron has worked on a significant number of equity, debt, merger and acquisitions, and restructurings. He is the current president of Colby Capital Ltd., a private merchant bank in Toronto, Canada. Mr. Cameron is the former chairman and director of Cub Energy Inc., an oil and gas company focused on developing significant oil and gas reserves in Eastern Europe, a former board and audit committee member of Kolibri Global Energy, as well as a former board member of Voyageur Oil and Gas Corp., an oil and gas exploration company with significant assets in Tunisia. Mr. Cameron is a graduate of Saint Mary's University in Halifax, N.S., Canada, with a bachelor of commerce in finance and accounting, and holds numerous financial industry designations.
Lorne Warner, a professional geologist with 30 years in mining and mineral exploration. A University of Alberta graduate, he’s explored on over 5 continents focusing mainly on gold and uranium projects. Lorne and his associates made several discoveries including a uranium-silver and gold deposits in Mali and was the first to restart exploration at the Detour Gold Mine after Placer Dome closed the mine. Lorne is currently in management or as a director with several mining and exploration companies working in Colombia, USA and Canada.
Mr. Roberge is Managing Director and founder of Tehama Capital Corp. a boutique merchant bank based in Vancouver, Canada. Mr. Roberge served as C-Suite Management, and or Director of a number of publicly traded and private companies in natural resources (mining), energy and technology industries. As founding partner in Tehama Capital Corp. Mr. Roberge has focused on transactional business and financing companies concurrently with a go public strategy in the Canadian capital market. Mr. Roberge is recognized for his early participation and identification of rare earth elements and battery metals for their critical geopolitical and economic importance and is a regular international speaker on the topic. Mr. Roberge is CEO of Pantera Silver Corp. (TSXV. PNTR), and Board Member of Copaur Minerals Inc. (TSXV. CPAU). Mr. Roberge is also a board member of the Hong Kong Canada Business Association.
